नववर्ष में प्रवेश करने का अर्थ है, पुराने से मुक्ति पाना, पुराने सम्भालकर, समेटकर रखे हुए दर्द, दिल को जलाने वाली अर्थहीन ईर्ष्याएं, अकारण जबरदस्ती ओढ़ी हुई अर्थहीन उदासियाँ, व्यर्थ की चिंताएं और जो भी स्टोर किया हुआ दुर्गणों का जखीरा है – उसे नववर्ष के आगमन के साथ अलविदा कह दीजिए। करुणा प्रेम का रस, खिलने दीजिए कमल के सुमन, उठने दीजिए सूर्य जैसा उत्साह और चाँद जैसी ताजगी, यही है नववर्ष पर नूतन आशीष और सम्बुद्द सदगुरु की सदप्रेरणा ।
